LIVE Classes at ToleTown.com

ToleTown Members do not have to pay for live classes; they are *included* in the membership fee.

Our live classes are taught in an html enhanced classroom, chatroom style. Students receive supply list, pattern and prep instructions prior to class and come ready to paint! We recommend placing a folding card table or TV tray next to the computer  in an "L"  shape to allow you to turn to view the computer and then your project... it really works!

The teacher gives the instructions, helpful tips and detailed information to the students by means of a chatbox in the classroom.  Throughout the class full color step by step photos are presented so you can see exactly what the teacher has painted at each step of the project! Now we even have video clips available for the more recent classes! These clips are great learning tools for students to view as often as they need to in order to learn the specific techniques.  Our 'live' classes are geared toward intermediate painters, however, beginners and advanced painters are always welcome to attend.  Basic painting skills are recommended for best results.  Inside ToleTown, we have a great Resource Schoolhouse filled with terms, techniques, ideas, worksheets, and projects galore!

To view our video clips and classroom, you will need a media player such as Windows Media Player or Real Player (already standard on most computers) as well as java which is a free program that enables computers to view the chatroom area. Most computers already have java installed; but we'll be glad to help if you have any questions. Try out our "Sample Classroom" to see how it works.

The huge benefit to attending a live class is that you have the teacher "right there",   so as a question enters your mind, if you don't understand exactly what is being said, or if you're having trouble with a skill or technique you can ask and get immediate help or guidance.

Your class fee includes the live class with us.  After class, we bundle the files into an "ePacket" where you can download the line drawing, complete instructions, color photo, video clips (if available for that class) color step-by-step worksheet and class log.

We are sure that you will enjoy this unique learning experience!

How do I sign up!??!
To purchase a Basic or Premium Membership, simply use links provided at the Visitor Center -  located at www.toletown.com.   There is prepwork involved for the live classes, so please sign up early so that you will have time to prepare your project for class :)  Paint each project on your own surface of choice, or use the ones we recommend in each supply list.  Surfaces and painting supplies are not included in the class fee and are the responsibility of each student to gather up for themselves.  We do however, provide a detailed supply list of the items we used for that specific class so that you can purchase them if you would like.
