Membership Terms and Conditions:

1. By clicking the "buy now" button, you are requesting to become a member of ToleTown.com's online community of decorative artists.   Our community is made up of a wonderful group of decorative painters from around the globe; we welcome new neighbors with open hearts and look forward to getting to know you.  We ask that new members bring their "moving boxes" packed full of a love for the art of decorative painting and a willingness both to learn and to share.

2. Premium Membership runs for a complete calendar year from the date you sign up.  Fee is payable at the time of sign-up and then each year thereafter. 

Basic Membership is a "limited access" membership which allows for access to monthly classes and projects but does not include special programs, free home page, free photo album or access to our archive of 300+ previous projects. Basic membership is paid quarterly (every 3 months). Payments are handled by our automatic billing system. 

3. Our high satisfaction rate is a reflection of the care and quality we have built into town, and the spirit of community among neighbors.  Rarely does a new member regret their move, but in the event you feel we are not right for you, refund requests will be granted within 24 hours of joining.  Due to the nature of our site we are unable to offer a refund beyond that point.

4. A word of caution:  We have found that decorative painters are some of the greatest folk around!  Perhaps it is the common thread that ties our hearts together that soon has strangers feeling like old friends.  :)  Because of this, there has never been the need for a sheriff in ToleTown... there is no "jail"!

Out of respect for the community and its leaders, members agree to the following:

  • Sharing login information, usernames and passwords or accessing the site from more than one computer at a time is strictly prohibited. 

  • Materials received through membership will be used for personal use; may be painted for fun or profit (mass marketing excluded); may be used for teaching purposes for your local classes; may not be redistributed via electronic means in any way without written permission.

  • An amazing community has grown up here largely due to the fact that citizens here do not carry around any "loaded weapons".  "Flaming" or slander of any member, teacher, organization,  product, manufacturer, etc... will not be tolerated. The above is not tolerated and any "outlaw" attempting to commit these "crimes" will be "run out of town" resulting in an immediate eviction with no refund of dues.  While these precautions must be in place, we are happy to say that none of our painting friends has ever tried to take advantage of the site and its purpose, and no "posse" has ever been needed! *grin*
